2. Quotations
- All quotations are free of charge and valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
- Quotations are based on information provided at the time. If site conditions differ materially from those described, we reserve the right to revise the price before works commence.
- A written quotation must be accepted by the customer in writing (email is acceptable) before any works are scheduled.
3. Payment Terms
- A deposit of 25% is required upon acceptance of the quotation to secure your installation date.
- A further 50% stage payment is due on the first day of installation.
- The remaining 25% balance is due on satisfactory completion of the works.
- Payment may be made by bank transfer or cash. We do not accept credit cards at this time.
- Late payments may incur interest at 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.
4. Scheduling & Access
- Installation dates are agreed at the time of booking and are subject to weather conditions and material availability.
- The customer must ensure clear access to the work area prior to the start date, including removal of vehicles, gates, and any obstructions.
- If access is not provided on the agreed start date and the delay is the customer's fault, a revisit charge may apply.
5. The Works
- All work is carried out by our own trained operatives — we do not use subcontractors for the installation itself.
- We will take reasonable care to protect surrounding areas, but some dust, debris, and disruption is unavoidable during installation.
- The customer is responsible for notifying us of any underground services, pipes, cables, or other hazards before works begin. We accept no liability for damage to undisclosed underground services.
- Minor variations in colour, texture, or finish are inherent to natural and resin-bound materials and do not constitute a defect.
6. Curing & Aftercare
- Resin-bound surfaces require a curing period of at least 24 hours before foot traffic and 48–72 hours before vehicle use. We will advise you specifically on your installation.
- The customer must follow the aftercare guidance provided. Damage resulting from premature use or failure to follow aftercare instructions is not covered under warranty.
7. Warranty
- We provide a 2-year workmanship warranty on all installations from the date of completion.
- The warranty covers defects in workmanship. It does not cover damage caused by: misuse, vehicle spillages (oil, fuel, chemicals), tree root movement, subsidence, frost damage to edges, or failure to follow aftercare guidance.
- Any warranty claim must be reported to us in writing within 14 days of the defect being discovered.
- Our liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the affected area at our discretion.
8. Cancellations & Changes
- You may cancel your booking at any time before works commence. If cancellation is made more than 7 days before the scheduled start date, your deposit will be refunded in full.
- Cancellations within 7 days of the start date may result in forfeiture of the deposit to cover preparatory costs and loss of bookings.
- If you request changes to the agreed scope of works, we will issue a revised quotation. Additional works will be subject to these Terms & Conditions.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Our total liability for any claim arising from the supply of services shall not exceed the total price paid by the customer for the works to which the claim relates.
- We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of use, loss of profits, or loss of enjoyment.
- Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
10. Insurance
Resinate UK Home Improvement Ltd holds full public liability insurance. Copies of our insurance certificates are available on request.
11. Disputes
In the event of a dispute, we ask that you contact us in the first instance so that we can attempt to resolve the matter informally. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
